Corvette Stingray

The 2023 Stingray gets a boost into the territory of luxury supercar machinery with the placement of its V-8 engine behind the passenger compartment. The upgrades to the base model bring it to the level of far more expensive exotic cars while maintaining great levels of comfort and affordability.
Offered as a convertible and a coupe, the hardtop model comes with a roof panel that can be lifted to allow sun into the cabin. With plenty of space for luggage or groceries, the Stingray is a practical car to use on a daily basis. 

Corvette Z06

The 2023 Z06 model pushes the iconic Corvette nameplate to compete with exotics from Lamborghini and Ferrari. The Z06 takes the best amenities and tech from the Stingray while greatly improving both performance and handling.
 
Considerably wider than the Stingray, the Z06 also has larger air intakes and a unique rear wing. A new naturally aspirated 5.5-liter V-8 elevates the car to ferocious levels of speed and acceleration. The switch to a mid-engine layout made the eighth generation Corvette more affordable, with the Z06 having enough edge to shame those opting for more expensive supercars.
    

The 70th Anniversary Edition
The Corvette first debuted at the 1953 Motorama show. In celebration of its 70th anniversary, Chevrolet offers a special commemorative edition of the Z06 and Stingray models. The 70th-anniversary editions come with a host of additional features. 
Exterior improvements include Edge Red brake calipers, 20-spoke design forged aluminum wheels, 70th-anniversary wheel center caps, and 70th-anniversary exterior badging. The two exterior colors are White Pearl Metallic or Carbon Flash Metallic and come with or without Satin Matrix Gray or Black racing stripes, respectively. A special edition plaque and unique VIN sequence top off the exterior enhancements.
Inside, a unique ceramic white leather interior with Red stitching and seat belts matches a custom luggage set. Other enhancements include a sueded microfiber-wrapped steering wheel and GT2 two-tone seats, which can be switched for Competition Sport Seats. The 70th-anniversary logo adorns all seats and sill plates.

The Corvette Z06 comes in 1LZ, 2LZ, and 3LZ versions, with slight differences in pricing according to being a coupe or convertible:

The Z07 performance package adds Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, tuned suspension, and high-performance Michelin Pilot Cup 2R ZP tires. This package also requires the Carbon aero package, which comes with a front splitter, a rear spoiler, and other carbon-fiber exterior elements.

Engine and Performance

Stingray
The engine is in a completely different location this time instead of in front of the passenger compartment, it's behind it. Sticking with the 6.2-liter V-8, the 2023 Stingray boasts 490 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. 

 
 
The dual-mode performance exhaust that comes with the Z51 package tips it to 495 horsepower. The Z51 add-on also offers aggressive brakes, an electronic limited-slip rear differential, and summer tires. Manual transmission is not an option. 

Z06
The Corvette Z06 engine gives it a roar similar to the exotic supercars it invokes comparisons to. The naturally aspirated 5.5-liter V-8 has a flat-plane crank and 8500 RPM. The car comes with standard 20-inch front and 21-inch rear forged aluminum wheels. There's also the option of lighter, stronger carbon-fiber rollers.
With 670 horsepower, the sound of this machine is enough to demand silence from bystanders and supercars alike. The special V-8 engine is linked to an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive, giving way to an explosive performance. The optional Z07 package unleashes its full potential with reduced weight, added aerodynamics, and upgraded brakes and tires.
Fuel Economy and MPG

Stingray
The Corvette Stingray has an EPA fuel economy rating of 16 MPG in the city, 24 MPG on the highway, and 19 MPG combined city/highway. It uses ~5.3 gallons per 100 miles.

Z06
The Corvette Z06 has an EPA fuel economy rating of 12 in the city, 21 on the highway, and 15 combined city/highway. It uses ~6.7 gallons per 100 miles.
In-Vehicle Infotainment and Luxuries

Stingray
The Stingray is equipped with the Chevrolet's Infotainment 3 Plus system. This features an 8-inch touchscreen with Bluetooth audio streaming, a 4G LTE mobile hotspot, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability. The system is simple, straightforward, and responsive, making for a seamless experience.

Z06
In addition to the above, the Z06 offers two separate Bose stereos: a standard 10-speaker system and an optional 14-speaker system. The Z06 also comes with a Performance Data Recorder (PDR), which allows you to record video.
