The Silverado 1500 offers a superhero lineup of engines from a turbocharged four-cylinder, a Duramax diesel 3.0-liter inline-six, and two V-8 options. You can fit your Silverado 1500 for any journey. Between the two V-8s, the 6.2L is the quickest and most capable with 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. The 5.3L, by comparison, boats 355 horsepower with 383 pound-feet of torque.
The turbocharged 2.7-liter four-cylinder rocks 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. The Duramax inline-six hits 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque. With firm braking and incredibly agile handling, the Silverado 1500 is sure to drive and feel a lot smaller than it looks.
Interior and Cargo
Whether you opt for the base-level Work Truck or the blinged-out High Country, the Silverado 1500 can be customized in a variety of ways. The Work Truck and Custom trims come with the essentials. These include vinyl seats, manual locks and windows, and manually adjustable front seats.Â
